“Some patches of green to sooth our eyes!”
Shade, air, peace for eyes!!
While walking through the heat, traffic, chaos, and pollution of Kathmandu, I found a little moment of peace along the footpath.
Surrounded by these small trees and green plants, I realized how much comfort they quietly provide to the city. I had never truly appreciated these patches of greenery before, but today they felt a bit different.
In a city filled with dust, smoke, and concrete, these roadside plants offer shade, cleaner air, and relief to pedestrians, riders, and even those stuck in traffic. Kathmandu does not just need wider roads and bigger buildings — it needs more trees, flowers, and spaces that make the city feel alive and breathable.
