“New rules/standards for brick factories..”
Know the law
From now on if you see any brick kiln, please note that the Government of Nepal has enforced the Brick Kiln Standards, 2082, which set requirements for chimney height, smoke emissions and other operational standards.
These standards will apply to new brick kilns from 2082 Bs ,onwards and to existing brick kilns from 2084 B.S Under these standards every brick kiln is required to adopt Zigzag Technology.
Zigzag technology is a system that reduces air pollution by forcing smoke and particulate matter to follow a zigzag path instead of being released directly into the atmosphere.
This process helps reduce PM2.5 emissions and contributes to cleaner and healthier air. So, does the brick kiln near your home have Zigzag Technology installed?
