“The road to college taught me that sometimes the air hurts before we even realize it.”
Everyday Dust
This road is part of my daily journey to college.
At first, I thought the dust was just another part of the commute.
But day after day, it began to burn my eyes and irritate my skin.
It became something I could feel, not just something I could see. What frightened me most was how normal it had become.
Vehicles kept moving, people kept walking, and everyone continued their day as though breathing dusty air was simply a part of life. Clean air should never be a luxury.
It should be something we experience without having to think about it.
This road reminds me every day that the air we accept today shapes the health we will live with tomorrow.
